Frame Recall on 2015

Got the call this morning that there's a frame recall on my 2015. Considering that the frame was replaced this past summer due to an accident, I think they're going to opt to spray it. The lady at the Toyota dealership told me it takes 8 hrs to spray.

Funny thing is I had a fluid film appointment at my local shop lined up for tomorrow.

Did anybody else with a 2015 get a message?

Does anybody know what product they use to spray the frame at the dealership, and if it is better or worse than fluid film?

Or will it chemically react with fluid film?

I plan on interrogating the dealership, thought I'd ask here as well! Thanks.

 

Don’t fluid film it until the dealer does his. The dealer only does the inside frame and you should do the outside with FF, then you will be golden.
