I checked out your post. Holy cow that's an amazing deal you got there!
Locally I'd expect that truck to be advertised for double what you paid, and sell fast too!

Can I ask where you're ordering your parts from?

I wasn't interested until they told me Toyota did the frame replacement 2 weeks prior. As for double the price, I don't know about that. I valued it at around $ 8k ish with the HIGH mileage. I don't really like to bother the previous owner after purchase, however, would like to know a little history on what Major components have been replaced (head gaskets replaced would make my day to say the least). From what I've been reading, that model year has a 25-30% failure rate on the head gaskets. I do know the previous owner had Toyota replace anything that was questionable, within reason during the frame change....so....best of luck to ya on yours....!!!!

I got my Bilstein’s from Wheeler’s Off-Road. They provided me with a 10% off coupon code.

Everything else I ordered from either Amazon or Parts Geek.

Has anyone ever fixed a power steering leak?
My dealer told me there's a leak as the power steering fluid is low, and they can see the oil.
Although it's not critical, the cost to fix could range from free to $2000, speed depending on where the problem is coming from. Of course no one knows for sure until the truck is apart. This worries me.

Other than that, the Toyota techs looked over the rest of the truck and didn't notice anything critical. The only other thing thew advised was new aftermarket shocks as the truck is currently lifted.

They can't determine until everything is apart from during the frame replacement.

I’d recommend the fuel tank straps, steering rack and steering intermediate shaft while truck is apart. I didn’t do the steering rack and, of course, it failed a 15K miles later and it’s a big labor bill.

I had the frame replaced on my 2006 a few years ago. I had them put new suspension on while they were in there. Initially they wanted to charge me extra, but I talked them down to charging me nothing for the whole thing. If you are looking to update the suspension at some point, this may be a good time.

    Hmm . . . none as yet, that's why i'm here . . .
I bet the tranny lines and power steering lines could do with being replaced
