    Sarah was not impressed.. :rofl::rofl:
That looked like a pretty decent trail though. If the rest of the trail is like that, it's probably doable with minor armor and careful driving plus some maxtrax if needed. But, we'll have to see how big our group is. Likely don't want to do that one with a big group and no way around.

    haha been there, done that!
The weekend of 9/7-9 is probably a no-go for me, but the following would work. Or really any of the others. I can make a poll if yall want to go that route

The last weekend in Sept is the Vermont overland rally so that and the weekend before I need to prep the truck.

Oh good call. Probably don't want to do it that weekend then.

I think the trail looks very doable for stock. But honestly ive seen his videos from old florida rd in Adams MA i think and Sarah was far from impressed with his driving abilities

Edit : which reminds me, ive always wanted to go to Adams and hit old florid road, that or MA Bell.

14th-16th or 21st-23rd works for me and looks like the dates we are leaning towards.

So I've been looking around Google Earth and it seems like theres a few ways in from Dorset Hill Rd that would be interesting (if they're not gated). I think I know which one is the big cave we're headed for, but pretty hard to tell for sure. Theres several that look abandoned in that general area.

It also looks like Dorset Hill Rd turns into a really small dirt "road" and keeps going nearly 4 miles up to an active mine. Again, no way of knowing for sure without someone whos been there, but it looks fun, maybe a stream crossing or two.

Well I successfully found all the ways not to go. And holy fricken drop offs. Some of those trails have a good tumble to them with only 8" to spare on either side.

Plus side, giant fricken playground up there. I smashed up so much stuff. Deff going to have to take inventory tomorrow

Pretty sure I narrowed it down. Pick any path up there to explore and you lose an hour. I picked 3. Looked for the bat caves first. Didn't leave enough time for quarries. But I drove by the trail head and narrowed down which map is most accurate.

Wasn't even up there for that today. Stopped for lunch and was somehow 5 miles away.

Didn't even make it to the trail I was supposed to do today. Pretty bummed. But I did find some sweet dirt road cruises this morning. And also a back way into, if the map is as accurate with this as everything else, one hell of a trail system in the national Forest.

Btw. Got rocks? There were the baby ones.IMG_20180810_165003.jpg

Couple sections over 20 inches of ledge on the ground. Pretty sweet stuff.

Definitely time to get some skids...

Didn't get to explore that area on my last green mountain trip.

Yep. Mine were used today. I also brought / dragged along some big ass stones for a ride too. Whoops.

It's not terrible. Bottom line after driving around the whole thing a few times I'm pretty sure I know where the 2 trails are even though I didn't get to drive them to the top because of time. I'll throw the map up in a pvt convo later

Premium. Worth every penny if this is the stuff you do. Trouble shooting unknown trails, cross referencing map sources, downloading maps so you don't need the inet when you're navigating. Works well.
