Yum, but I don't like IPAs. Been drinking Kolsch style lately. But if it's hoppy it's not for me.

I have a 3rd gen 4Runner with 2.5" lift, 32" st/maxxs, open diffs, sliders, and stock sheet metal skid plates under the engine and gas tank. In your opinion after running the trails, should I get some skids on order or would I be alright with careful driving (from the sounds of it though, the trail is pretty narrow with drop-offs so there isn't many options for different lines)?

Great! I am only about 90 min away in NY

You should be fine. The stuff I came into was on another trail. So im not 100% certain what's on this trail but evidence leads me to believe it'll be more mild than what I was on.

I'm prepared to wheel and my girlfriend may tag along so shes a maybe, but we aint sure yet as she goes to college on fridays and I dont

I got a air filled spare and enough recovery gear for these rocks, should do just fine out there! But back to the topic of campsites, once we get a total true list of attending members Im down to throw money so we can bunch everyone up into 4's for campsites near eachother. Doesn't matter to me where we get to camp at either. Super stoked!

When are people grabbing sites? GF will not be joining so I'm up for splitting a site with someone. From when I looked at the reservation site for Emerald Lake it looked like a lot of availability & huge sites (most can hold up to 8)

If people are down with it I'm thinking we grab two maybe three adjacent sites at Emerald lake, down near the end in Section C.

Someone should probably call them to get a price first, rather than going off that shitty price table on the VT state website.

2-3 sites for who? Just us on the forum or everyone coming?

Also you can make the actual reservation online too Reservations
    Emerald Lake Contact Info
    Site 2
Emerald Lake Site Map You can click on each site to see a picture and info

*Edit: Looks like sites 54/56/58 or 67/68/69 could be good options for Section C. First is closest to showers/toilets/water, the second is the end of the road basically

They just got back to me, Vermont resident is 2$ cheaper...22 or 24$ a site I think, it's loud at work! Only 2 trucks per site though. Not sure if a bigger group site is possible, I forgot to ask, oops. Sorry I got busy while I was talking to her!
I did not reserve anything yet.

Ok cool! I'm assuming that was $24 a night? They have a 2 night minimum at Emerald Lake. Also a 2 truck limit is kinda annoying..

And yeah you make a good point, I dont have any firm commitments from the NE Overland guys. I sent them all a message. A few haven't gotten back, a few said they're busy. So at this rate I'd say they can get their own site if they end up joining

Did the have a limit on people or tents pre site? Maybe some park in the parking lot and just set up with out truck at site.

No limit on people, they did say that you can park in the parking lot. So if tent camping your all set. I unfortunately am not.
