I'm not guaranteed in yet, but As long as I can at least unload at the site, I am a tent and guess I can let my truck be out of my sight for a little bit.

I think @Skierrichy posted a few other options back on pg 5 of this thread. One of those might be less hassle. Im actually busy at work right now :anonymous: but Ill look into those later. Might be worth it

I'd prefer not having to walk back and forth to my truck a million times for every little thing I forget haha

Most places are two vehicles per site limited that i know of. No harm in parking in the lot and Rtt guys can park onsite

Been slammed at work and preparing to start my travel season so I'll be MIA on the forums. Just let me know who/where/when I need to make reservations - I'll try to keep up with the thread as much as possible.

Looking at the site map for Emerald Lake, it's a bit of a walk to get to the parking lots from Section C.

    I see 8 people as definites, assuming that's still accurate (@MurderedTacoV2, @SR-71A, @Skierrichy, @bajatacoguy, @mach1man001, @Bruce988jl, @m603holden, @Jferg2321)
What does everyone run for sleeping; Tent or RTT? I agree with @SR-71A and rather not have to walk back and forth to the truck a million times so I'm fine with spending $24 and splitting a site.

If we grab 4 then we'd all be able to park at the sites

I can see that working! So whats that 24$ with two trucks per site. So if we do 2 nights there then we pay 48$ total split between two people for those nights and the rest will be spent on fuel

Works for me! and im running a ground tent for now.

That list sounds accurate to me.

And yeah, I like that plan! Im also in a small ground tent for the time being, so it would be pretty convenient if my truck was at the site.

Sounds like we should grab 4, who wants to make reservations?

Looking at the map and availability of sites it looks 66, 67, 68, 69 would be good and out of the way. If the NE overland or anyone else shows up sites 62 & 63 are across the road and still available so then we could take over the end of the road for camping. Actually I think all of Section C is available looking at the site again

That would be easiest. Any adjacent 4 is good with me. Just make sure you add your dog in the reservations thing.

No commitments from any of the NE overland guys, so yeah they can fend for themselves at this point

@Skierrichy if you want I'll split 2 with you so you don't have to front $200; I think they add on an extra fee for the dog.

    Looks like fees are:
    $4 daily entry fee
$20/night camping (18+2 out of state)
    If over 5 people $5/person/night
    Pets $1/pet/night

@m603holden push for festivities on Sunday, you're the only one that's scouted for us yet

Roof top tent... Possibly a plus one with a single person ground tent but unlikely. I might do this trip Sans a copilot.
