TacomaWorld.com fosters a friendly environment for all users of all ages, genders, interests, and dislikes. The TW staff has noticed that there has been quite of bit of resentment towards several long time members for one reason or another. We all came to this forum for one reason or another; many which were to seek suggestions from a member regarding a truck, or vehicle question.

With that being said, the forum is used for a large variety of topics, including off-topic discussion. For example, our TW Live thread is used for many of these off topic posts. These posts may consist of anything the TW member may see fit, or would like to share as long as it does not violate the TW Code of Conduct.

If a member has a certain issue with another member, the TW Staff would like to recommend the following:
-Utilize the 'ignore' feature built into this forum. Once the member is added to the 'ignore' feature you will no longer see their posts.

-PM the member if needed to see if the issue may be resolved.

If the above steps do not correct itself, please 'report' the PM, post, or utilize our "chat with the staff" located under the TacomaWorld Site News thread.

We thank you in advanced for your cooperation on continuing to keeping this forum in a friendly for all use.

Please contact a TW Staff member if you should have any questions or concerns.

    In Good Spirit,

    TW Staff.

    Here's the thing

This post is a long time coming. It's not Beavis, or any other particular incident. Beavis may be involved in the most recent set of complaints, jabs, snide comments, and bickering but he's certainly not the first.

While it's expected that with the membership numbers that not everyone will get along, we want to curb the bickering, arguing, underhanded jabs and snippy little comments because some people think that because someone is enjoying TW one way, that someone else MUST enjoy it their way or else they're TW-ing wrong. The bottom line is that TW is for everyone, and we PREFER if the staff can stay hands-off. We want ya'll to enjoy the site (especially the off topic areas) the way each of you see fit as long as it's within the code of conduct. The staff doesn't want to deal with refereeing various arguments because of the source of funny pics, or how many pictures of his dinner that Beavis posts, or how much unrelated chit chat is in any given thread.

For the most part, we are all adults here, but we aren't acting like it. Kind of reminds me of the entitled people who live on the public lake who have issues with people who want to enjoy the lake differently than them, but because they live on the lake...they think they have more "right" to dictate how the lake is used.

Enjoy TW, stick to the code of conduct, and help someone learn. It's not hard folks.
