Before there were Tacomas, before there were prerunners, there was this early 80s street, turned topless lowered, turned topless prerunner snug top, turned T-boned half red-half blue 400,000 + mile craziness that finally reluctantly not quite regretfully, was replaced/updated with the 05 prerunner. A little history of a lot of fun with a great vehicle that made Toyota's rep what it is struggling to keep nowadays........

In the beginning...4500 & 5 yrs of lovin life got me to here in 87 with twins on the way.

Then in 88 or so, went topless & lowered 2". Truck surfing on the rr deck(ghost riding without driver) was fun stuff.....

Then came the Tbone of the prerunner topless snugtop (modeled by my twins around 94) which brought about the red bed that it wore until present day........also only needed new rims & one leaf pack, tuf mutha!

Which ended up leading to this in January of this yr before getting the 05 prerunner.....

That was how I got the 05. It has now transformed into this in the last 10 months. Lovin the new digs. Plan on rollin it for just as long & having even more fun with this one........

Negative on that, lol. I'm 49, all you yongstas will have to "shoot" for that. Only new twins at this house will hopefully be another Taco to go with the one I have. Got twin kayaks, does that count?.....

What? Nobody's gonna dog me for having blue spinners on a offroadish truck? I'm disappointed, lol...but it was the 80s-90s so lots was stupid. Here's a laugh, just threw those away when moving to new house this past Easter, lol.

And yes, the twins grew up. Not accepting applications for son-in-laws at the moment. :D

Haha wouldn't dream of it. But the Tacoma isn't really a compact truck anymore is it? The line between small trucks and 1/2 tons is getting hazier and hazier.
