Just FYI. You snapped your oem’s because of the spacers.

How are you doing with the head gasket? I have an 05 with 130K and drive it with anticipation.

x2. OP, if you wheel your truck, this scenario will likely occur again with the new shocks and the 2.25" spacer lift. Under off road articulation when your coil springs are fully compressed, your shocks are now your "bumpstops" when running a spacer lift. My guess is that your original shocks snapped at the the bottom shock mount.
If you are on the original wimpy OEM 3 leaf pack, don't even bother with an AAL. Just replace the whole pack.
    Welcome to TW.

not had any worries about a failure in the engine yet. regular maintenance and driving not too hard and it’s fine. plus it’s a manual so i do drive it hard sometimes and it’s still doing good beside regular maintenance pieces when it gets up to 270
