To all the Palm Beach/Miami area Tacoma owners:

I will be arriving on Aug. 21 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I will be in Palm Beach for a conference and have the whole day on Saturday free. I wanted to head down to South Beach for all the eye candy and good food. I have a few questions.

    1. I need a place to stay Saturday night. Any takers or recommendations in or near Miami (I don't want to drop $100 bucks, was thinking along the lines of a Motel 6 or someone's couch).

    2. Where is the best eye candy (what part of the beach)?

    3. Where can I get some good Cuban Food or just awesome Miami food in general?

    4. Would like to sight see some (other than the eye candy on the beach) where are some good spots? Interested in checking out some of the Cocaine Mansions that were built in the 80's maybe a little history on those places.

    5. Where can I see some Pink Flamingo's?

    6. Would like to meet some local TacomaWorld members.

    7. What area's should I stay away from.......

PM, Bump this thread, whatever. I've got about 4 weeks before my trip so any info will be greatly appreciated.

    Muy Grande.

Ocean drive is one of if not my favorite places to cruise on. That's the art deco district. Lots of cool things around there. It shouldn't be too too busy this time of year because its' off season. Also that should make hotels cheaper not cheap though I bet.
