They stopped putting these on around 2016, I was looking for one for my 2020, so did a little digging with parts guy at dealer and we just gave a 2015 a try and we got it!

Correct, the front bed rail is NOT standard on 3rd gens. There are many 2nd gens that are now missing it.

I found the same thing for my 2017. I went a head and ordered one off eBay (see pictures). I also installed the CCR Sport toyota deck rail kit. This works with the tonneau cover as well.

Hey guys, I'm looking for the complete accessory rail system for my 2018 TRD OR Short Bed. I haven't had much luck finding any aftermarket or even OEM. I did however, find some that seem to fit 2nd gens. Would those fit? Appreciate any help!

    (Side Rails) PT27835100SB
    (Header Rail) PT27835100BH

odd that your truck didn't come with them. The header rail will fit. I haven't tried the side rails since my truck came with them, but I don't see why they wouldn't fit

Hm yeah since the bed dimensions are the same I’m inclined to just try it out since I found them for $30/ea. Thanks!

I got a piece of 1/8"x1" steel and drilled the holes and painted it. Installed behind the rail to move it out to the edge of the top rail. Works perfect and was cheap and easy.

    Must be a mislabel/wrong part?

Just installed PT278-35100-BH in my 2018 last week. Everything lined up correctly for me.

Only issue I ran into was accidently stripping one of the torx30 bolts so I had to order some replacements from my local dealer.
