Anybody have any suggestions for front brake pads for my '06 4WD TRD? A friend suggested pads by a company called Downy or Downey but I can't find anything about them online.

I'm not a heavy duty off-roader but I don't want to be caught in a situation with cheapo pads. Anybody got any advice?

    Thanks in advance.

Several guys on here like the Hawk ceramics. You can also get the same pads as the TRD pads from autozone.

I've used those 'national autostore' pads without any problems on other vehicles. I wouldn't hesitate to use 'em again.

Edwin at RaceShopper.com will set you up with a great price on the Hawk pads. Fast shipping too.

If you really want to upgrade order a set of SP Performance slotted rotors and swap them out at the same time. :)
