Front bumper, no clearcoat? WTF?

    When I talked to the service manager he was claiming that they treat the bumper differently than the fender flares.... ???? I don't get it, its the same material. Regardless, I'm going to find some clearcoat and pay the guys at work a 12 pack to help me paint.

    and yeah, bugs are impossible to get off the front, no matter where they land. I thought our trucks we more aerodynamic LoL

    Dealers & port distributors are allowed to fix about $500.00 in what is called "port or transit damages" and not disclose this to the customer.

    I now ALWAYS ask a dealer IF any damages were repaired on any vehicle before I buy it new. Ask to see the paperwork on this.

    FWIW ... I bought a new Nissan Z a long time ago and the hood was repaired and painted by dealer or at the port and they forgot to shoot the top clear coat on it. Later, the repainted hood chipped and faded and dealer would not fix it. IMO, I would get your paint problems it in the record now.
