front hub assembly

    I sent a mail to Timken about some front hub assemblies, since toyota wanted about $600 for both front bearings + spindles & seals (recommended parts)
    I got this back.....

    2WD & 4WD 2003-2008 uses a replaceable bearing Module, which is a flanged 2-row bearing. The entire knuckle is removed, and the hub presses apart to get to the bearing. The Hub spindle is reused.

    Part is on order with our OE supplier, due End of September

    oh well, like I said before.. it's not that bad now and no noise. I still have to check my tie rod ends for play as well.
    I know some of you guys just replaced just the bearing and it's a PITA to get it off the spindle, it's cheaper but I don't entirely trust it. I'll wait until sept lol.


    just noticed... 03 to 08???!! WTF?
