Curious how the wiring harness is designed. Apologies if this has been asked already, I didn't read through the entire thread...

Is it powered from the stock rear locker? In other words, do you have to be in 4Lo and have the rear locker engaged before engaging the front?

I could see advantages to the front locker able to engage without the rear, or in 4Hi (like the grey wire mod does for 2Hi).

Simple stand alone harness. Will engage whenever you want it to (obviously shouldn't be engaged during wheel spin or high speeds)

Actually my manual said 5mph but once engaged you can go as fast as you want (that's not what the manual says tho haha)

You know if that was in my truck it would be going in at about 50 right before I entered that corner on the 72 road... at the top of the switchbacks.

The latter is more likely. And by red bull, did you mean beer?

I recently installed the harrop e locker for the front differential, I noticed that the driver side CV axle is leaking. Did anyone have this issue, or know someone that had this issue

I did not have this issue, but it sounds like a bad seal, probably unrelated to the locker. Your truck is 17 years old...Pics would help.

Probably not seated right, or something. The locker shouldnt be the cause of forcing gear oil out.

I had ecgs install mine and then just put the cv’s back in and havent had any leaks. I wish I had better info for ya. Only issue I had was toyota over filling my front diff and it barfed fluid all over my engine bay via the breather. That was fun..

If you mean their bushing to replace the stock needle bearing then no. Not a must have. I still don’t have it but kept my suspension lift to a minimum just enough to clear 285 (with some cuttin and chopping )

What @hx989 said. I do not have the bushing either. Is your leak by the driveshaft or the cv?
