I have ARB front and back. Had them 2 years now, with zero issues.

Any recent seal issues are mostly installer issues, IMHO.

Yes 3+ years ago, ARB had some crappo seals. I am by no means an ARB fan boi as now I see a LOT of their stuff is toy like, and a joke on us by the Aussies. They are a funny lot.

ANYWAY: I have used it a couple times. Works GREAT. STRAIGHT ONLY. PERIOD.

I don’t know about toylike and a joke on us but it’s not something I want a lot of. I do have the BP51 suspension from them and love it.

Mostly their accessories are China import CRAP. I obviously am OK with the lockers, and most of the suspension stuff (OME, hmm, I dunno about that, mostly good)

I have an ARB locker. They are the strongest lockers on the market because they only lock up in the strongest position possible. The shop said they have seen them crack the front diff which can happen but only if your running upgraded CV's as well. I would not lock the front with CV's like rcv because that just makes the diff the weak link at that point. The diff wont crackwith factory CV'c because they are the weak link. I try not to lock my diff if im turning. Keeping them straight is key. You might go through CV's though. Ive never broken one for what its worth and do fairly harder wheeling. Hope that helps. ECGS is the route i went and installed myself. Here is a video on ARB's thats good.

The bp51 is their OME top of the line suspension. I love the adjustability. I can adjust preload, compression and rebound to really dial in how I want it to ride. I would put these up against the big names like king and fox. Also about a grand cheaper for the full kit so there ya go, love em.

    Good to know!
Mostly I heard about noise on their lowest tier stuff.

Anyway I zero regrets about getting the front locker.

If you want it, get it. People that break shit with a front locker are simply not being safe while using it. These front ends aren't made out of glass, you'll be ok.

I also love this clip of my truck. Double locked, just gently eating away until it grabs.

I would have regretted not doing a front locker when I regeared. I have A-Trac: AKA the "digital" front locker and I would say after using the two A-Trac is 25% of what the locker is. I only engage it going slow and straight-ish. Easier to turn on, quieter and quicker to engage than the factory rear e-locker, too.

ECGS also gives you a 5 year warranty, including on the R&P setup. I used them on my last truck to add a locker and the rear was easy enough to swap. Have not done a front diff swap. If you don't want to do the swap, I don't know about you but I'd feel a lot better having a local place swap diffs then set up the R&P.

So I know this has been answered more or less by others, but to add, here is some info from ECGS regarding front clamshells and arb lockers. See posts 12 and 17.

Getting 4.88s and ARB RD111 locker installed as we speak. I was squeamish due to the price tag, but it only adds like another hour of labor so it just made more sense especially since I already have the ARB twin compressor so I went ahead and did it. I'm thinking what the guys in here are saying about it being a tool to use sparingly to help you keep from getting stuck seems to be what most people are saying. I think @EatSleepTacos 's videos pretty well speak for themselves with the utility of it.

I'm super pumped, I'll let you know how it goes once I've had a chance to try it out. Shop is taking their sweet ass time getting it installed, but better than rushing it I guess.

Sweet bro, can’t wait to hear how it goes. But yea my shop is going to take a week to do the gears. Sounds like a long time but whatever
