Does anyone have a trick for removing and replacing the inside seal on the knuckle.
I have a 2011 4WD Taco with 105,000 miles making a bunch of noise up front. Bought the Dorman hub and bearing assembly just hoping to get another 50,000 or so. This is my first time doing wheel bearings. Watched a few how to videos but no one shows how to replace the inside seal.

Almost sounds too easy! Thanks for the tip on the hub cover, makes sense. Next weeks project, I'll give it a try.
    Thanks!

This exactly. The seals can sometimes be a pain to get seated, but the process is simple.

Set one side all the way in and use an air hammer with a flat bit on the raised side. set them no problem
