With that head unit you can connect it to the later model sterring wheel controls. I would imagine he just swapped out the steering wheel. I was thinking about doing it to my 05.

Don't really know what you mean, this is the steering wheel that came with the truck from factory. When I changed out the radio, I had them unhook the controls, so as of now they don't work. The audio shop that installed the radio said I could get an adapter for $80 that would make them work with the radio, but I just couldn't see spending $80 on it when I can reach a foot and a half over and do it on the radio. But as for your question the truck came with the controls.

SOLD!! Now I need to find an older Toyota truck. Going to look for an older one. Sad to see it go but it's all for the best, now I can pay off all my debt with the profit I made.

$21,000. Pretty happy with that, since I only gave $19,500 2 1/2 years ago. :D
