There is a thread on here of a guy trying it. If I remember it doesn't work.

    05stram -

I put a Pioneer avh-8400 in. Have a road trip coming up in a few weeks, got antsy, and decided to pull the trigger, despite the lack of a 2012 dash kit.

That being said, the existing second gen Metra dash kit that I had installed, while not perfect, looks a LOT better than I expected, given the posts I've read around here. In fact, I may not even replace it with a 2012 dash kit -- and I tend to be pretty OCD about things like that...

Sublime - it definitely has the capability to have an ipod/aux wired to it, but the usb/aux ports and harness are still in my vehicle. Can't imagine it would be too difficult getting those parts from Toyota.

Honestly, in the time I had it, I didn't try streaming Pandora. I believe, but I'm not certain, that it is possible, based on a thread I read in here once.

I've attached a picture of the rear of the unit, for anyone that it'll help.

Definitely doesn't fit smoothly. Another member purchased one from the forum a couple of months back and tried mounting it. The fit was far from perfect - left a lot of unsightly gaps. If it had fit, I would definitely pick this one up for my '11...

Thanks for the info guys - didn't realize that it takes a little more work to fit this in earlier model Tacomas.

With that, Ill go ahead and take $45 off my asking price. Maybe someone will be interested in taking it on as a project...

Price is now $90, includes shipping in the lower 48.
