    Sold sold. Sold.

Up for sale I have a set of wheels and tires that came on my 2015 Toyota Tacoma with less than 20 miles on it. The tires are 245 75 16 Dunlops and still have all the nubs on the tread. I have had the TPMS sensors removed and replaced with rubber valve stems. They are an optional wheel package offered by Toyota. I'm asking $950 obo. Local pick up is preferred. I'm in Concord, NC (basically Charlotte).

    LOWERED PRICE $625

From my window sticker it says 16" Prime Alloy Wheel

They look to be a Southeast Toyota Distributors option.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Miata's (have had 7 of them) and the red one is my daughters actually ... in general a car to autocross (currenlty a Solstice GXP), and a truck to get it home if there is a problem (knocks on wood as it hasn't been needed yet) is a great combination.

According to this article, the tire shops cannot touch these without the TPMS. What has been your experience?

In the past I haven't had much of a problem, (some will not, though) however I usually take my wheels and tires in loose and have to keep TPMS sensors that are syncd to my truck. I've definitely had sensors flipped to new wheels in the past and have heard on some vehicles you can make an air tube (at your own risk).

Sounds like an unenforceable law. The TPMS sensor is an answer to a question that doesn't need to be asked. If they ask just tell him you're putting them on a 1st gen Toyota. Im sure California's shaking in their Birkenstocks and I'm serious. I hope the TPMS police aren't reading this. LOL

NOWHERE in that article does it say a dealer cannot touch these wheels? All that says is that cannot disable a tpms system. Whoever buys them just needs to buy new TPMS is all.

This is also what it says.
“We assume that the vehicle has a functioning TPMS system at the time he or she purchases aftermarket tires and wheels.

Just just tell them it's going in a vehicle that doesn't have a TPMS system. How hard is that. Or just tell them the system is not functioning. Like I said it's an unenforceable law. It's not even a law.
