I custom designed the tweeter adapters for these CT Sounds meso silk dome tweeters. I have used them before in my previous car and they sound amazing for their price.

I do have the oem connector that I can solder on to make it completely plug n play or I will provide crimp connectors if you want to cut off the male end on the truck.

Price is $100shipped. IMO these sound better than the Subaru/kicker upgrade. The adapters come in red but you can easily paint it whatever color you’d like.

The tweeters feature a threaded aluminum body which is how they are secured into the adapter using the locking ring.

Not being a huge audiophile - you say these sound better but spec wise are they better? I remember reading that the Kickers were a good fit due to their ability to play really well with lower power (i guess that means higher sensitivity?). I was just about to do the Subaru/Kicker upgrade but I could be convinced to use these if they ARE better - not meaning to sound rude, but someone saying they sound better seems subjective - is there anything in the specs that makes this a better speaker?

I used these on a oem headunit and was impressed with how well the highs and clarity was. I then powered them with a dsp/amp and couldn’t be happier with it. Yes this is all subjective but when I installed the Subaru/kickers in my taco, they definitely sounded good but I enjoyed how well the ct’s were over them.

...and that is even without the dsp/amp? So just comparing factory headunit Kicker vs factory headunit CT?

Do the included crossovers need to be used?

It can but thats only if you have a dsp to adjust crossovers but without the dsp you will need the black box.

All I did with the meso's in my other car was put ziptied it to the underside of the tweeter with some foam about it. Never heard a rattle from it.

What’s your opinion if I replaced these in my JBL OEM tweeters?
