I’ve tried looking through the pages of comments but have not found the answer to my question. Probably a stupid question, but.....if you install both the front and the back spacers, doesn’t that put you back in the same position?

That was my thought, but I’m betting the original angle was still less than it is with both the front and back installed.

You gain seat height also, which leads to length. Example Get a camping chair and put a inch thick board in the front and then do same to the back to the legs. Try both and see what you like

You can play around a bit with the rear height. It comes with a few different size rear spacers and you can use as many as you like. I think I have mine set at 0.5" in the rear and it works well. I haven't felt the need or been compelled to adjust it yet.

6'2" 34" inseam, 80k, long mileage trips 1k+. IMO have struggled mightily with this truck and it's crap seating (but great ground clearance and ability to explore tight trails). Constant neck and lower back pain, numb legs etc. Exacerbated by tight hamstrings and not enough stretching as I get older. The deck is high and headroom is low. Have about an inch above my noggin.
Beaded seat for summer heat abatement, Backshield for better lumbar support and there's no room left for me. Without those the fr seatjacker is still a bandaid on a badly designed seating position that promotes leaning back and lifting thighs like a street taco (maybe thats why it's called that). Try to sit like that at the office and make it through a day, ha!
Never going to get proper posture when you can't keep your back upright with neck inline of spine and legs at a ~90 degree angle.
Would I sell the truck because of this, not yet... still having too much fun in spite of my physiology.

Have you considered a full seat swap? I swear I saw one or two trucks in here where they had swapped in seats from other models in the Toyota/Lexus family.

I added the front jackers and 1/2” to the rear of drivers seat! Made a big difference in comfort, I’m 5’11” and have plenty of head room. Played with the rear with all 3 sizes that came in kit but settled with 1/2”. Wife wants me to do passenger side now!

Will these still work on a 2020 Tacoma with the automatic seats?

Yes, they work fine with the power seats.

Steve - are the 4runner and Tacoma brackets exactly the same?

Thanks for notification of a discount code. Did end up getting a under seat compressor/seat jacker with it. Watched the video since it helps twofold: if it works well, Desert Does It will be more inclined to do this sort of thing again and it helps an influencer get some follows. Some people may be against this type of sales model, but I feel it’s a small price to pay for a discount.

To DDI, thanks for trying this out and thanks for shipping my order in less than 24 hours. I’ll actually receive this tomorrow, less than 48 hours after ordering (only one state away). Can’t wait to install it.

The one in the video worked on Thursday and is said to be active until the end of the month. Try it!
