**LOCAL buyers will receive FREE installation of parts purchased provided they cover the cost of any additional items needed such as dash kits, wire harness', speaker wire, etc

**I can provide a BRAND NEW vehicle specific dash kit and wire harness at a discounted price from retail to the buyer of the in-dash only. PM for details (05+ Tacoma Kit only $25 brand new)

how is the parrot interface mounted to your console?

 

2 double sided foam pads. They have held for a year now without coming loose. And if/when I pull it off, they shouldn't leave residue and if they do then goo-gone should fix it

Would your dash kit come with the unit? If so, will it fit an 07 AC?

 

Dash kit is not included, but I can possibly purchase one at a discount and have it shipped with the unit. Let me know if you want metra or scosche and I can get a price. IIRC, they go for about $50 and I think I pick em up for $30, but I might be confusing that with something else. And yes, it will fit an 07ac no problem :thumbup:

 

How is the install on this... i'd be possibly doing it myself and have limited experience

If you have installed a stereo before if pretty much the same. If you have amps then is gets slightly more complicated but I can include install instructions and kind of walk you through it. I forget which kit I have, I believe its the scoche kit, but I need to double check that. The iPod cable and HD radio tuner are also plug and play install and very easy. If you want the parrot Bluetooth, that's a whole other story though. That thing is a pain to install. I'll check out shipping when I get home later. Hopefully I can get it in a large flat rate box.

Not at this time. I need to sell it all in order to pay for the new radio. Unless I get a buyer who doesn't want the HD tuner then it can be sold separately.

 

whats the big difference between this model and the avh-p4400bh? do these units have the capability to play satellite radio as well? I did like the reviews of the p4400bh. Also, will this fit for a 2005 tacoma double cab? sorry with these noob questions. I am in so cal and I have cash in had.

Only real difference is that this is a 2011 model and the 4400 is a 2012 model. This one has the HD tuner and the Bluetooth separate but I am including both. The 4400 has HD and BT built in. So with what I am including they are basically the same. I actually like the look of mine better vs the 4400 but thats just my preference. I am also including the iPod cable which is pretty expensive by itself. For the $420 price you get everything plus I can get a brand new dash kit for about $20 more if you need one. PM me to discuss more info and if you want to meet to check it out. It is still installed I am just waiting for a buyer to uninstall.
