I lost all four off my 2005 from MUD (the weight ripped them off). I had one or more come off before when four wheeling, but snapped them back on. The weakest part of this truck are these mud flaps! The front ones are too close to the ground, and come off easily when driving in ruts or over rocks. The backs ones are only useful in letting others know you have a 4X4, since they don't provide a plaque for Tacoms like they do Tundras saing they hve 4WD.

I now have a 2010, and am waiting for mine to come off!

added some paint today...looks somewhat better

also noticed a small defect where a bolt was pulled through the hole...should not be a problem as far as holding the flap in place.
