    Hey Matt,
Installed a second kit (UV) back in Oct and only used it a few times since but I noticed last night that half the lights just look white now? Is this normal? I have a bed cover so its not exposed to the elements. The left side is almost entirely white, the right is mostly UV and the front rail is half/half. Let me know what you think.

PM sent. Thinking of a cool white UV, red or amber kit for the inside of my cap.

Cool white / UV is a good combo. I primarily use the cool white but the UV is nice because it still provides plenty of light just less intense. +1 on this set up

Any pictures of the kit pre install? Would like to see what's in the box and if it will work for my planned setup.

I haven't installed my UV light kit yet (it's too cold)... but reading reviews of various UV LEDs on Amazon, it seems quite frequent that the UV color fades over time. I'm not sure if there is something in the nature of the UV coloring that fades?

    I'm just thinking out loud...

The UV lights that Talon has were from a new Vendor and I'm currently waiting to here back from them to provide an explanation. This is the first time this has happened with the UV lights.

So does the $80 5' kit allow you to have them come on whenever the double cab bed light comes on and also turn them on independently with the bed switch? Or it is one or the other?

I think generally I'd like them to come on whenever the bed light comes on, but I could imagine scenarios where I would want to turn it on from the bed, too. (But I guess for $25 more you could also stash the remote in a bed storage bin for that purpose, as well.....IF the remote can work in tandem with a setup where it came on automatically with the bed light, that is.)

I don't provide install instruction to tie into factory wiring do to liability, though it can be done with a relay.

The $80 short bed kit includes the bed mounted switch and everything needed to install the bed lights.

Do you have an installation video anywhere? Really want to get these installed and would like to see a video of the basic process before I start drilling my TACO bed!

Are these the same light strips you use on the hood light and bed lights? They look brighter

Yes they are the same, for under cab I use (1) 63" LED strip per side.
