it's really just wiring the switches in parallel. depending how you do it, you might need to run a long wire into the cab

Just be sure to get a weather rated switch for the bed, and look for "ON-ON" switches. You can use "ON-OFF-ON", they will just have an extra unused position and most likely defeat the purpose you are looking to accomplish, if you leave one of the switches in the middle position. When hooking up the wiring, make sure the common terminal is the feed from the battery on the first switch, and the feed to the lights on the second switch.

For the cab, its up to you for style and location, which switch to use. If the bed is covered, you may want to find a switch with a built in indicator. Or wire a small indicator, (lamp or LED), between the batter and the first switch. Also, DPDT switch will work, you would just use the contacts on one side of the switch.

Website automatically calculates the shipping cost, I think it's about $16.

Any luck with this? Really want the existing bed light switch to work AND a switch in the bed.

I couldn’t figure it out. I got the bed switch working, but I couldn’t figure how to connect the switch in the cab to the wires leading to the lights. I’ll try again in the next week or so and will let you know.

I just ordered the light kit from MattGecko and I'm going to screw with it once received as well, did you use the bed switch provided by Matt Gecko?? I'm a complete moron when it comes to wiring so this should be interesting!

Matt - any chance you could make a set of bed lights for 3rd gen that has at least two colors (was thinking red and bright white) and a waterproof 3-way switch (bonus would be a switch that lights up when on)?
