I had to go get more connectors because I ran out.

Ooh, I thought you were going to just disconnect it from the battery and tap the connectors onto the 9V directly.

Now that you verified it's not chaffing... sounds like a bad switch. Maybe it broke since you first installed it... maybe depressing it too hard? Sounds far fetch, but if you don't have a short in the LEDs, then it has to be that since you can't see inside it. Maybe disconnect the switch and verify continuity & isolation (should read an "open" when in the off position)?

Since we are trying to verify without a multi-meter, putting it in-line with the 9V is the next best option (IMO).
I'm not a professional electrician, so don't hold me to it.

Will do. So far it sounds like a bad switch, waiting for switch by-pass results.

For all that has help thank you so very much. I wired it up the same way and I must have had a bad connection (totally my fault) but didn't see any. I love these kits and I'm sure the reason I am having issue is my own fault. Shout out to Matt for the follow up helping me get this straight. Hopefully I get the bed lights done today also.

Ok so, I got it figured out and I know this was my fault but thanks to all of you on here lending some information. I got the bed lights mounted and wired and I'll post the night shots later. Here is what I got!

I reached out to @mattgecko via email and he got me taken care of, talk about service! I would definitely buy again for another vehicle when I get one. I had zero experience and he made things easy I just overthought some wiring connections.

Not to the cab light but this shows the wiring breakdown and from there you can fine where it needs to go. Hope it helps some.
