    I know this is old but will someone explain where it's located on a 2.7, 03 4x4 tacoma

    I'm gonna start getting a broom and shooing you second gen fuckers out of the first-gen section. :p

    You'll need to use a flare wrench to prevent stripping the nuts on the fuel line.

    Living in the great Brine belt I change mine every spring .

    I guess if I wanted I could just rotate two of them for a few years.

    I only change them so I can get them off Having one that was seized so bad it needed to be cut off despite spraying with Kroil for a few days before.

    The inside of the flare nut seized to the line the threads were just fine.

    So on a 2003 tacoma 2.7 4 cyl it's mounted on the drivers side of the engine??

    I changed mine at 200,000 on my 3.4. It was the original Denso. I'm pretty sure it was the original. When I took it off it had rusty, dirty looking gas pouring out of it. So I went and bought a WIX fuel filter to replace it with. I was going to go OEM but this option was more convenient at the time. I heard WIX filters are good if not as good as the OEM filter.
