Fuel pump turn on when key in "on" position?

    It may do that in later generations, but not in 1st gens. Per the control circuit posted above, the ignition switch has to be engaged to signal the EFI relay and power the fuel pump.
    If you have a stock ECU, that is.

    1st gens and 2nd gens do not have a key on prime, the fuel pump only runs during cranking and after the engine has started.
