Fuelly Banners not updating on TacomaWorld

    Hello, I have searched around the Fuelly forums and this problem was fixed on Fuelly's end several years ago.

    As I have been looking through random threads, many people on here do not have up to date Fuelly banners in their signatures. My fuelly banner has not changed since I first posted it to my signature. Several other user's Fuelly banners are also not updated in several month. One user's banner shows 6 fuel ups when their Fuelly account shows 18 fill ups.

    Is there a caching feature for signature images that does not refresh or update their image on the Tacoma World servers? They seem to be the first thing that loads on every page I view, even if I have not seen that user before.

    Some background on my end: My fuelly banner on here shows 3 fill ups at 19.0 mpg

    My fuelly banner on the 'what you can share' page on fuelly shows 4 fill ups and 19.5 mpg

    Yea, I have the same issue with mine not being updated. I started a thread on the fuelly forum but I don't recall them ever getting back to me.

    We proxy any image that isn't https.

    We tested fuelly sigs to see if their server supported https by changing this

    but it just redirects back to regular http

    I'll setup something this week to reload the fuelly sigs daily so you guys can see them update.

    Fuelly sigs will now be refreshed daily (after midnight PST).

    If and when Fuelly.com begins supporting https for their signature images, we will no longer have to proxy their image and it'll update as often as it's normally supposed to.
