I saw someone re-direct it into the cowl for a cleaner bit of air, seemed like a cool idea with a little work. It's a big open box in there that stays pretty clean.

I did that on my old YJ. Worked ok, dont want to try that on the Tacoma for reasons like justin said, and because I think I can fix this without sawzalling holes in stuff.

For those that dont know, Everett flopped his truck into a pond and fucked his motor. Before that he was playing Ken block for about an hour in standing muddy water dumping sandy shit down the cowling, pre fucking the motor pre flop.

Yes, I was hoping the rev limiter would atomize the sandy water. Because science lol.

Can not reccomend the cowl mod, all water splashed on the windshield would almost certainly go through your intake.

My swedish made penis pump/brake bleeding kit showed up today. Going to be some fun nights in the garage "flushing the brake fluid".

Tundra brakes are back on, purged the system of most of the black brake fluid, which is odd since it's only like 2yrs old. Pretty sure a caliper is going to lock up at some point, the pax side is a bit grabby. It could also be because I'm running the old pads that were sitting in my parts pile since the new ones would not fit over the rotors, first time I ever saw that. Truck stops nicer now which is good. Plus look at those rotors, will look nice at the mall, everyone will know how serious I am when they see the slotted(ish) rotors through the beadlocks.

I also must have done something right when I built the axle, no gear lube spilling out of the knuckle when I removed the spindle bolts.... or the diffs dry.

I’m starting to wonder if that’s the case with my crawler that still hasn’t leaked.

My cases stopped leaking then my trans blew up!

When I was working on the aircraft ramp, there were quite a few aircraft types that if they weren't leaking oil, they were out of it!

Test fitting for hydro assist. Need to order some parts so I'm putting it back together as I'm not in the mood to start fabricating an axle mount. Swapped out the shitty ruff stuff tie rod ends for some toyota ones and did an alignment. Getting ready to turn the truck around and re phase the driveshaft.
