Fun 10mm options?

I have a Glock 40 that I carry while hiking, camping, and really enjoy shooting. Unfortunately it is my only 10mm and that is one type of ammo that is relatively easy to come by these days. Any recommendations for another 10mm gun to enjoy? I don't have a specific need or scenario in mind, just looking for something fun or unique.

Have you been able to shoot one of the CMMGs yet?

 

I have not I heard they can be hard to get though. I haven't really gone to gun stores specifically asking about them yet.

 

Same. Places around here will order it but I don't think I'm ready to do that yet.

 

Yeah. There are a few bigger indoor ranges around here that may have them one has some full auto stuff you can rent and play with.

The Banshee is my favorite PCC in 10mm.

 

The rarest 10mm I have is my Ruger Blackhawk Buckeye edition. Only made in 87-88, and also came with a 38-40 cylinder. Ruger makes the Vaquero in 10mm/40shortandweak IIRC. A single action revolver is pretty unique in 10mm. I'd like to pick up a S&W 610 or Ruger GP100 in best millimeter as well. Ruger also chambers the Super Redhawk in 10mm

 

Thanks guys for the added suggestions. The revolver is an interesting one and I don't have any revolvers so maybe that would be a good fit. Maybe I'll poke around at my LGS this weekend.

 

fyi, the double action revolvers like the 610 and gp100 will require moon clips, and not the 45acp kind. And not interchangeable between Ruger and Smith. The Ruger single actions, you feed through the loading gate just like normal .

 

you should act soon because the ATF just sent C&D to Honey Badger, my guess is that they will reverse the broader perspective on braces again...

 

We might actually have a fighting chance on this one with the "Congressional letters of concern" that was sent to the ATF by Congress. The NRA (finally doing something positive) is also standing with "Q" and SB Tactical on the issue.

We will see what happens......
