Dang, sorry bro. When I buy a new car it’s always at this time of year. Dealership is trying to make their quarter and their year, usually motivated to make a deal. Maybe find someone who’s more motivated.

You might try sending emails to the internet sales person at every dealership in 500 miles and tell them what you want. If someone doesn’t bite I’ll buy you a beer.

Pretty much that and we overtax what we do take and have lost the ability to change/move when the environments change. War is also a proxy for it all as well....Bought it on a whim, but serious impressed.

That's my plan for tomorrow actually. I've already contacted a couple in Vegas and northern Utah but tomorrow I'm going to email them all. Also going to contact a broker

And if they bite I'll buy you a scotch!!!

I actually purchased our 2019 Sienna in cash, when my mom passed away and we needed a new minivan as our old one died from transmission failure.

Simple swipe of our bank card, after showing the bank forms, and within a week or two, got the title.

A belated congratulations for getting your original shit-show resolved finally! So you're looking for another Tacoma but definitely not a 2024 or 2025?

Waiting on my current loan to be paid off by surrender company. Holidays didn't help. I am either going to buy a 2023 Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 V6 with low mileage and keep that or trade for 2026..... OR if a 2025 Xtracab SR5 4x4 w/ SR5 upgrade becomes available I will take that. Which ever becomes available first. There are deals on the 2024's right now but still kind of shying away from them.

What a journey to get thru this thread. I had a lemon law buyback on an Outback several years ago that went much easier and was no big deal.

As for the Frontier, I’m in a 2022 Pro4X that is a great truck, though it is likely to be totaled because a tech at a national tire store chain drove it off the alignment rack and it has major frame damage, pushing the repair costs to more than 75% of its value. I found myself back here on TW as I start researching a replacement truck.

The turning radius on the Frontier is no big deal and you get used to it quickly. It’s a great driving truck with plenty of power.

Good luck in your search Bronze Taco!

Insurance companies authorize frame swaps all the time.....
Frame damage along with serious body damage, involved in serious accidents...
Due to high cost of replacement of a vehicle, would be is the DONT repair it...
I worked for a ford dealership & my front end dept & bodyshop would do multiple frame jobs a month....
    Talk about alot of work....

I also find it hard to fathom actually bending the frame by just accidentally incorrectly gauging his location & over shooting the alignment pads & dropping the truck off the rack, but who knows what the actually details were...
Not that important, bent is bent...

I don’t want to hijack this thread, but the frame swap and body work repair is in excess of $26k. It’s being flagged by the body shop as a total loss, just waiting on the tire company’s 3rd party claims company to authorize the total loss. I wouldn’t want the truck back after that level of dis/re-assembly. If they do choose to repair it, I’ll trade it in. Anyway, always fun searching for your next truck! I will say that another Frontier is in the running. Great trucks with actual buttons and knobs.
