future mod question/concern

Here are my options:

I was looking at a possible 3" lift to get a little larger tire size. Was going to go with Billstein 5100, new UCA and AAL in the rear but I keep hearing about some problems associated with lifts. I tend to keep my truck on the road and use it to tow a trailer.

If I dont go with the lift I was planning on the following:
1. TRD Exhaust
2. New HID retro's from BlackFlame customs
3. bf goodrich all terrain ta ko 265/70/17 (not sure if 75 would fit).

so what r u concerned about with the lift?

 

I have hear that vibrations can become a problem and something regarding the drive shaft angles changing causing problems.

 

most dont have vibrations, but some trucks end up having them. it is fixable tho. and driveshaft angles only cause problems when its lifted way way tall...

 

I installed an OME kit and some LR UCA's and never had any problems. It's hit or miss really, some have the use axle shims and CB drops, some don't.
