Nope, you can't just stick an H3 bulb in a BM. Due to the black crosshairs inside the BM's, you have less room for a bulb than the regular Hella 500's.

I'm removing the lens from the housing, cutting the center portion of the crosshair out so that my H3C bulb will fit, and then putting the light back together. Once the light is back together I'm installing the H3C Morimoto Elite HID system, from the retrofit source. I don't know if a regular H3 HID bulb will fit. I'll take a measurement, when I have the light back together, and post the distance from the bulb housing to the lens.

I'm also rotating the the lens 180 degrees when I put the lens back on the housing, but I'm mounting my from the bottom of the Elusive Elements light bar. If your BM's are mounted on top of something(not hanging upside down) you wouldn't rotate the lenses.

I'll guess I'll be try to remove the lens too and yes please measure the housing and let me know. thanks.

I hope a regular hid h3 bulb fits because I've already ordered them. :(

Be patient with removing the lens! When the epoxy/light has heated up enough, the lens comes off with little effort by putting a flat tip screwdriver between the lens/housing and slowly working your way around the light, twisting the screwdriver to separate the two.

How did you seal them up properly after getting the glass off?

Once you did this, did you have any condensate or leaking issues?

    Could you please elaborate?

    Thanks!
