Random question, but does anyone have an extra 168 or 194 LED bulb? I need just one and I thought I’d check to see if anyone has a leftover from a pack before I buy a bunch just to have my own leftovers.

    Howdy,

My Lil’ B front bumper just showed up at my door step. Do you fellas have a powder coating guy (or gal) you would recommend in the Atlanta area? I’m over in Conyers but willing to drive for someone that does it right.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Congrats on the bumper! I took my front bumper to Miller's Custom Powder Coating in Lilburn. Turn around was about 4-5 days and they charged me $175, which will probably be the same for you since I have a C4 Hybrid front bumper that's similar in size and all.

Hey, @HashTaco! Thanks so much for your reply, brother! And congrats to you on the C4. I was eyeing that one forever and only at the last minute pulled the trigger on the LB. I’m giving Miller’s a call this evening on your recommendation. Less than a week turnaround would be ideal. Hoping they quote me the same.

Thanks again! Stay safe and hope to see you out and about someday!

Anybody got any recommendations on camp lighting? Something like Luci lights but wanted to see if there’s other options? My wife wants to put some camp lights or string lights next time we go out

Howdy, @Pizzasteve5717! I was hunting all around for a good camp light solution and Luci was the direction everyone pointed me. If you haven’t seen them in action, here’s the video that sold me. It’s just a mention but when you see the camp setup it will give you a pretty good feel on the light output and setup.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Eating good!!! This is split between my 90lb gf and myself, we can put down some food between the two of us!

Also my own creation, a hush puppy stuffed with country fried steak!

I didn't get any response in the CL finds thread. I'm thinking about making an offer on the camper top if they guy is even willing. I don't really like the way the shell sits on the bed rails, as most of them seem to fit around the bed rails. Thoughts?

BTW, it's a pretty BA truck. You on here?

Oh, an in other news, I have AC again!

Last year (or maybe the year before) my AC flickered out, but came right back. I started researching and found that there is a resistor back by the blower motor and that is what controls the fan speed. But it just flickered once, so I left it alone.

Fast forward to about 2 or 3 months ago and my wife tells me "Hey, your AC stopped working."

I get in the truck and sure enough, no AC. The AC light is on, but no air coming from the vents. Turned the AC compressor off so that it wouldn't be running, but left the fans on. Went for a drive and they came on after a while. Pressed the AC button and cold air starts blowing. Ok, back to the internet to research. Everything points to this resistor even though everyone says that it should work on full blast even when the resistor is "bad."

Oh, and apparently there was an issue with the original design, so Toyota changed the harness that connects to the resistor. I was hesitant to cut the wires to crimp on a new harness. Well, my commute home on Wednesday with the windows up (on the phone and went through patches of rain) absolutely sucked. That was the motivation I needed to replace the harness and resistor. It's nice to have AC again!

I'd go with the Level8 MK6 for a couple of reasons. Mainly, they are one of the very few that explicitly state that they are hub centric and designed for our trucks. Next, they are a fairly light wheel in terms of weight, so you get a slight benefit of weight reduction. Finally, and this is purely subjective, I like they way they look.

    https://www.trailbuiltoffroad.com/buy-wheel-offset/1680MK6-16140G06/level-8-mk6-16x8-10

    Trailbuilt has free shipping

Edit: I just noticed the image you pasted showed that it came with a hub centric ring. So they are probably fine, but I'd still personally prefer one that doesn't need any form of adapter.

I really like the way these look and they are only 19 pounds. But yeah the hub is my worry .
