How much does it cost to get a truck wrapped like that? Does it ever start peeling?

I got it priced out between 22-2500, depending on which company I went with.

I was looking at doing it a couple months ago...matte black just like that one...decided to get a lift and a bumper instead.

Don't know about it peeling. I've never talked to anyone that actually had it done.

What does wrapping your truck do ? Just a quick color change
Or adds protection to the paint ?

it's a paint job that can be removed when you want it to. Down side is it can peel and scratch very easily, especially if you're in the woods/mudding/off-roadin/etc.

I wrapped the top of my cab with the 3M Vinyl Wrap in matte black. It looked good. I removed it when I had my whole truck Line-Xed and it removed my paint up in big sections. Glad I was having it sprayed. Having my truck Line-Xed was only $2K cant believe it was cheaper than the price you got to wrap your truck.

    And this.

Like Zach said, that does look really good. I am surprised it was cheaper though like you said!

It is Line-X Premier with a UV top coat. They acutally spray the Line-x material and then spray a top coat that can be color matched to any color you like. All you need is the paint code. The top coat offers a UV coating that will not fade. It will not fade any faster than regular paint with a clear coat.

We went last Wednesday for a day game against the Marlins and got a few autographs before the game. We'll definitely be making it to 3-4 more. We usually tailgate until right before the game, then go in, but we had my 7 yr old nephew with us, so we just went straight in and the place was empty. It was so easy getting autographs! Being a day game also helped lol. We need to all plan to tailgate at one this season!
