We’ve had a few threads about tools, but they’re almost always about portable, packable truck based kits.

This thread ain’t about that life.

Show off your boxes, your top drawer, shop talk, ask questions about tools, boxes, organization, etc.

Got a toolbox mod that’s a game changer? Favorite tool or one that is so good you recommend it to anybody who asks? Post here!

If you’re a professional wrencher you’re welcome here, but let’s keep the thread generally oriented for the average home gamer.

No “Brand X or it’s shit!” posts. We already know no brand makes every tool in its perfect form.

    Let’s bullshit.

    My new home setup.

It's not much, but it works for me. Only upgrade I need is a decent welding setup. Hopefully coming soon.

They are computer cabinets. Got them at a salvage yard for $100. Went back every week to see if they got more with no luck. 20150408_170135.jpg

This is on my to-do list. Is that the Snap on strip? I was looking for a magnetic, Lowe’s sells a Craftsman unit for $25 I might try.

Yes, from Snap on. Also has a USB port on it. Fits existing bolt holes and has a very long cord to reach any socket. I also added the cord wrap to the back.

I wanto to add a small roller like that. Not necessarily snap-on but something nice yet inexpensive. Nice box

A guy at work gave me this great vise. It's big, maybe 60 lbs. Should I just bolt it to the wood work bench, or do I need to get some metal to put under it?

Don't want it wallowing out the holes in the plywood, but am also a cheap a$$ and don't want to buy metal. Bench top is 3/4" plywood.20190127_103901.jpg
