I did the same thing a couple months back, no regrets. It was a pain in the ass to un-crate but we got it.

did it come on a pallet? They are shipping to the store since it wasn’t in stock. Trying to get a feel for what I’m in for. Website says it weighs 600 lbs

Yeah, basically palletized/crated. Probably every bit of 600. They loaded it onto my trailer with a forklift with extendo-forks. It's up on 8" approx. blocks to keep the wheels off the ground so we lifted/jacked/braced it up to pull the blocks out on the trailer. Once it was down on the wheels we were able to get the rest of the crate/packing off of it and then down the ramp of the trailer, but being 72" that took some creative moving/rigging skills. There was definitely some colorful language flying...

Haha I bet. thanks, yeah I have a small 6x10 utility trailer with fold down ramp which is removable. Hoping they can load it on there and once I get it home, I have a kubota with QA forks that hopefully will lift it up, not sure though since the forks are only 48", that's alot of leverage. Either way, hopefully nothing a few beers and friends won't be able to tackle.

You'll be gold with the Kubota! Here's a picture of it on the trailer with most of the bamboo crate removed.

You guys running 4 locking swivel casters on those big boxes, just in case?

My only regret with my 44” was not putting 2 swivel casters on the non swiveling side. Every time I have to move it (only a time or two a year) it sucks.

Agreed, I understand why manufacturers go with the less expensive pair on one end but I’m not a fan either.

I had only planned to keep the two. The benefit of two is once it's moving it's easier to go in a straight line, downside is maneuvering it against a wall with limited space. How I got my other box to be flush against the wall was to place a 4x4 on the bottom and use a floor jack to raise the non-swiveled end, and push flush. A little bit of a pain but I don't plan on moving mine very often either.

I left mine OEM with two fixed and two locking swivels.

EDIT: As mentioned above it was an 82 point turn to get it landed against the wall.

Used some gift cards yesterday and got a roll cart. They didn't have black and I don't mind the green (biased). I have to grab some socket organizers next. Things are coming along nicely.
