I know a couple guys/friends who have them. No real complaints from them other than it can be annoying if you need more fittings since you (generally) cant just run out and get them. Will say the three setups i can think of two look meh (wavy lines) while one buddy spent time straightening it all out to look good.

Copper lines are still my favorite look for lines a person will see. Rapidaire can be run in walls to hide things

yeah , I'm planning to run a portion in the wall and some surface mounted but hidden , looks like a simple system to install whereas with copper I'm not confident enough with my soldering to bury it in a wall

Yeah its a pretty simple system. Pretty much the only thing to consider is making cuts straight, burr free....pretty normal stuff. Itll definitely install quicker than copper (and be a bit easier to work with...like pex). I only started learning to solder and have to say its pretty easy to pick up with a good torch. Obviously ~50psi of water (on a well) isnt quite the same as ~100-150 psi of air but havent had any leaks so far!

If i were made of money I'd have gone Pro Press

you could always chance it on the soldering and do a pressure test :) I think with the price of copper you'll find that it's not the cheapest solution but one of the cleanest IMO.

I need to pick one of these up. I used one once on a dirt bike motor at a friends house and always wanted to snag one for my shop.

Oh there will be some mods all right
If I would have held on to my Miata longer I would have gotten some of those. As it was I had to use the factory jack to get it high enough for my regular jack.

Those look nice. I didn't see those back in 2014 when I bought Race Ramps for the WRX. I had to get a second mortgage. For the ramps.

NTD; giving them a whirl as I'm fully aware Knipex is the way. These are replacing my toothless (once had teeth) Huskies..

I was sadly disappointed in those, they ARE NOT the same as Knipex And very cumbersome to use in comparison.

I kinda went full send the last month and wanted new channel locks; these were inexpensive and gave them a shot. I'll see. Just couldn't invest in the Knipex at this point in time.

I have had Knipex Cobras 8” and 10” for years, and a pair of the 10” Alligators, I prefer the Cobras, I carry the 8” in my pocket often.
I bought the Milwaukee pair because the were cheap and I needed something now, I was disappointed, they don’t grab like the Cobras do.
