If you live in a horrible area then i can agree maybe not a window but again, if you get a good window. chances are no one will break in. thats just me. Back to the main question. i think it would be good to insulate. plus you can add more electrical outlets if you want. possibly a 220v for possible welder, generator, etc

I'd like to add more outlets during this process as well. For more tool usage, shop lights, and of course a keg-orator.

Previous owners already did that and theres a coax cable hook up on the wall as well. But I'm not a TV guy (I actually did not have internet in my home until last month).

What I would like to do is get an audio system hooked up out there. It would be nice to have everything hard wired or outlets put up in the corners for some speakers. I wonder if that is even necessary or if battery powered blutooth speakers do just fine.

I put a bunch of outlets in the ceiling that are all connected to a separate light switch because I already had a bunch of plug in shop lights. I still have the original lights (bare bulbs) on the original switch for general use and switch on the shop lights when I need extra light.

I hope it works out. They are nice tool chests when they arrive intact.

    Anyone using an Icon hutch?
    I’ve got a 72” master series and looking for a 56” hutch.
The snap on ones are ridiculously priced and having a hell of a time finding one used.

I added a bunch of outlets in our garage when we moved in, it’s very well insulated but no heat. It generally stays 20-30 degrees warmer than outside. I wash vehicles all winter with no problem.6ED870E1-A358-428D-BF47-080316AB7B9D.jpg

This is one of our cold days, garage is still comfortable enough to work in.9B319242-B945-467B-AE2A-4850C80B084C.jpg

Don't have one but seriously thought about buying the 73 inch Icon box as a upgrade for work, I would have bought one if they had it in store to look at.
Quality of the Icon hutches looks and feels on par with Snap On.

The 73” are nice but they’re a little clunky imo from the ones I’ve seen in store but I’m also biased on my master series. Way better than HD or Lowe’s junk.
With that said, I did run the US General double bank for close to 6 years. Used daily in a shop, just not rolled around. It paid for itself more than once.
Icon wasn’t around when I got my triple bank but if it was I probably would’ve been torn just because new vs used.

I think I might just go bite the bullet...
Just worried about how long it’ll last, still a grand lol.

Wired it up temporarily to make sure it works and its good to go! Now just need to make a box for it and finalize the wiring.

Bought a 3/8” drive tekton torque wrench today for my new to me beadlock wheels. This thing is tiny and adorable. Baby for scale.

I caught him at just the right time! He loves his high chair though. Just watches what I’m doing while I clean the kitchen and whatnot.
