The cordless snapon tool that AVE took apart left a lot to be desired. Honestly harborfreight's cordless tools seem to be on par with theirs... Milwaukee isn't bad though.

IMO Milwaukee is the best bang for your buck. I have All snap-on 18v electrics for two reasons, the tool truck comes to my shop and their repair policy is second to none. I’ve used and fucked up my 3/8” and 1/2” impacts so badly that instead of rebuilding it, they give me a brand new one for the rebuild price of $150.

Ive used a fair bit of the HF tools and when compared to snap-on or even Milwaukee theirs a noticeable difference in terms of construction and durability

Selling my WORX trimmer/edger tomorrow to a co-worker in order to consolidate my chargers and batteries and move to a single (mostly) ecosystem.

Ordered up the Milwaukee string trimmer with QUIK-LOK attachment capability.

I have officially gone mad on toolbox organizing (compared to my typical bag full of sockets I work out of LOL), but this 72" box allows much room for activities. I took a picture of the most full drawers, there are other misc that need some beefing up. The 72" box with the top is awesome, beats the hell out of the 44" gen 1 box I had before!

Apparently I need more adjustable wrenches

You’re gonna have to print out those pics and tape them to the drawers just to find what you have .

Nice project to have though:thumbsup:. Thanks for keeping us updated.

What brand are those stubby, flex, ratcheting combo wrenches? Thinking they’d be an excellent addition to many boxes.

That's organization! Now I need to buy those screwdrivers, been looking at German made ones for quite a long time.

I only see one thing missing in your set.

they do come with labels and I’ve never labeled the older box I had but it also had less storage, so I may need to reconsider with this box!

the stubbies are gear wrench PN 9550. Kind of pricey for what they are but sometimes you need something just like that to get the job done and save time/frustration.

the wiha ones are very nice quality, id recommend! I have a bottle opener already but an insulated one would match this set :)

I have that same bottle opener too. Makes me laugh how many people have put it on top of a bottle cap and turn it like a ratchet to try and open it.

Where did you get the vertical rack for the pliers? Link?
That is the best storage solution yet!

What size ratchet is that, hmmm maybe it's imperial. If we can standardize bottle cap size, same should go for fasteners

Ask and you shall receive, ye olde great Zon delivers again!

New garage floor is a good excuse to remake the bench. I refuse to buy lumber at these prices and used every piece of scrap I had, but it should be a lot more user friendly. Mitre saw and table saw in the wood bench, router is in the black table (repurposed ikea dining table). Need to build some shelves and organize the peg board, but it’s progress.

I think because it’s as heavy as a real ratchet when they pick it up they think it works like a ratchet. It’s mostly people that don’t turn wrenches that put it on top of a cap and turn it like a ratchet and when it just keeps spinning they stop and say how does this work?

You have far too many adjustable wrenches than I am comfortable with already. Those things are the devil.

Put my pass through to good use the other day:

Sometimes you buy tools because they would be nice to have in very specific situations. This was one of them.
