Went to Home Depot just to see what kind of deals they were having. Didn’t see anything particularly appealing.. checked out the Husky magnetic socket rails (trays?), didn’t like them at all. Basically a sheet metal box. I’d still like some kind of size markings on the organizer.

The displayed husky box had jacked up drawers (not sure if from people using it a bunch or someone bumping a cart into). Was enough to turn me off from there for Black Friday. Eyeing a craftsman one from Lowe’s but really up in the air.

I’m telling you bro, check out the US Generals! The 44” is on sale for $399 right now. 56” is on sale also.

You’ll notice heavier duty drawer slides, thicker metal, and check out the casters especially. Husky is/was all plastic caster wheels.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
Guy at work had a husky box. Man that thing was a waste of money. Drawers practically caved in when he had his tools in it. And that was near the limit per drawer but not over

Last time I was in a Sears the new Craftsman stuff looked pretty good, but it was their high end stuff that I was more attracted to. Post your thoughts on the new stuff at Lowe’s JD you’re inclined, might help someone else out too. :D

I have a large Kobalt I’ve had for about 10 years and it has been solid. Been shipped several times, including to HI and back. The only two down sides are too many of the drawers are too shallow, and I had a couple handles come off. It has been shipped loaded every time so I imagine it was beat in movement. Riveted them back on with no issues though.

That’s not too unlike the Craftsman box I liked, it was full stainless anyway.

Sounds and looks like it’s held up great. Will that stainless hold a magnet?

One each of the black for standard and metric, bigger red will be for truck, smaller red will be for tractor.

After I traded my Matco 2 bay for my tractor, I needed something that didnt weigh 600Lbs. Small Crapsman boxes work pretty well.

I will also support the HF boxes. Only wish is I had gotten a 56 not a 44.

    A thing or two...
And I should have gotten the 44 instead of the 26, but I was in a bind and needed something to get all my tools stored before I moved earlier this year.
