A quick test and it works great.

4 x 4 all three 3/8" staples flat into the wood. 12Ga solid wire snug but not too tight to cut into the insulation.

Is that a white Makita? I never had the drill but remember a white Makita 1/4” hex impact I ran with for work around 2008.

It is. They phased out the white and went back to traditional turquoise a few years ago. They have a few black drill kits too as their “subcompact” models (smaller and lighter with a slight power disadvantage) I got this kit (drill and hex impact) about 10 years ago. Replaced the batteries once in that time fairly recently and the drill took a shit today while installing some sliders. The impact is still kicking though. I also have the 1/2” impact as well as two 5ah batteries, one 2ah battery and a dual bay charger, so I want to stay in the same brand for a replacement.

    Now for some justifying math:
Replacement drill only is about $80
Drill, 1.5 ah battery and charger is about $100
Drill, impact, charger and two 2ah batteries is $170.

So as you can see, I had to buy the two drill kit. It’s the better bargain.
    :D

I’ll pass the old impact to my brother since he gets all my hand-me-down tools. He doesn’t use his tools as hard as I do so it should last him.

The kits are usually the best deal. Most of the time you’re essentially getting the tool free and paying for the batteries or vice versa, so sometimes it just makes more sense if you can justify the extra expense.

Me and two friends rent this space together. I have the mechanic zone with the lift and tools etc, one friend is a carpenter so he does vehicle build outs as well as cool slab furniture, and the other is a welder so he fabricates sliders and bedracks etc.

I have the workbench one and the double stacked one, don't really know what they're called haha

OK, last radial video. I promise. Really. Then I 'll start my own thread.

Watch the bottom turbo puke a bucket of oil at start. Classic 3350. At rest, the oil pools in all the lower cylinders and rocker boxes. On the race engines, everyone installed a rocker box drain system and a drip can to avoid the ungodly unholy mess.

I can't even imagine what some of the B-29 bases in the Marianas were like. You could probably drill for oil there, but it has probably long since drained through the coral and into the sea.

If it does not look like the bottom picture you spend all your time working out of state is some sort of Mechanical / Fabricating job.

When you do get home the last thing you want is to pick up any sort of tool at least in my case

My old jacks just didn’t work properly anymore. Picked these today. Worked great for my tire rotation.
