My first time owning a Tacoma. Anybody annoy that the gas cap cover isn't lock? Anybody using a cap with a lock? Let me know I kind of want to lock my cap up.

My 2004 4Runner has a gas-door release mechanism on the interior. That's kind of disappointing to hear that the 2016 Tacoma doesn't.

You can also just drill a hole in the plastic gas tank

That's why they can't go diesel, they have to redesign the gas caps before going full torque retard.

I have a locking Stant gas cap from NAPA. I called the company and they sent me 2 extra keys at no charge. Highly recommended.

I already got a sh*tload of keys on my keyring. I don't need any more. I would have paid for a factory gas door release

Great, which model #? Stant.com says the 10504 will fit gen 2 but Amazon says no.
