I have owned my truck for over a month and have not checked mileage. It was not the most important factor in buying my truck. I took a trip last week and got 21.2 for 3 consecutive tanks. WTF? Never expected that. Do i have a freak of a truck?

with my 03 5 speed 2.4 @ 50 ish on flat land no wind, 25-28 mpg is possible. My 76 F250 with 390 4bbl full time 4WD, if I got 6 mpg, I was happy.

Hum, had my '96 2.7 for 24 years and never checked the fuel mileage, might just do that.

    My 2000 3rz, 4wd, ADD, 5pd, 4.30 gears on 31's gets consistent 20-21 mpg. I'm very happy with that.

Mine with a winch, bumper, shell, bed full of get un-stuck tools, 3" lift, and 33" tires gets like 14 mpg until I put it in 4 wheel drive then you can pretty much just watch the gauge drop haha.
