Had an all day (well.. night) meeting at work last night so I started drawing up some things. The bumper is based off a trail gear winch plate. Not sure which hoop style I like better. My neighbor has a bender I can use, just gotta wait for him to go get it from his parents' place. Opinions?

I like the middle one for light hoop options.

Yeah that's what I'm leaning towards. I like the last one too. Will be easy to tie and exo into that.

Picked up a new in box 5.29 ring and pinion the other day for $100!! Going to try to order the other and the install kits this week or next and my neighbor is going to set them up fo free. He is also bringing me a bender tomorrow so there's no telling what shenanigans could happen soon.

Went on a little shakedown run today. Really impressed with the truck. I can't believe how capable this little thing is as it sits and I still have so much to do!

Here's a few pics since that's what we all want anyways :p

Just got back from Uwharrie, had a blast! Met up with some good guys with some nice rigs. One of the guy's wives was taking pictures so I'll have to wait till they get posted before getting them on here. The truck did really well and the driver did ok but now I am ready to get the 5.29's in and order twin sticks. 4 low with 4.7's is still too fast and there were plenty of times where I would have liked to have 2 low. Only issue today was a broken motor mount. Ratchet strapped it to the frame and kept on rolling  Going to order a set of solid mounts for the motor. Here's the few I got

Me too! On the motor mounts.. what do you think about the trail gear bomb proof ones? I ask because for the price of the 4xI ones I can get tg solid motor and tcase mounts.

I don't have experience with the TG mounts, or know anyone that does. Can't say I have heard bad about them.

I actually think I'm going to try chaining them like you were talking about. If it works well I'll have saved a little money that can go to buy the rest of the gears or twin sticks, if not I wont have lost anything and will just get the solid mounts.

Nice shots, thanks! You'll have to post the link to the pics that the lady in the black 4runner took when they get them posted

A chain on the driver side mount will suffice just fine. Seen lots of them done that way.

I'm guessing you pull it as tight as you can? Bout to go to Lowes and pick up some chain and a few cinder blocks so I can start the 63 swap

Usually welded on one side and bolted at the other. Try looking on pirate for a pic.
