Like Chris said, search pirate and you should figure it out. I'll let you know when I see the pics

Yeah I found a few. Got some chain laying around my dad's place this past weekend. I found quite a few people that did the 3 link method on pirate so I'll give this a try. Looks a lot better than wrapped all the way around the frame

Do it! I realized that my ifs taco was only going to do so much and would take a lot of money to change that so I picked up a mildly built 82 for less than what a cheap sas would have cost for the Tacoma.

1 stock hanger chopped. The other one is not going to be fun. I think I'm just going to suck it up and drop the gas tank.

You could cut the outside off, and bend the inside toward the tank if the spring is going to hit it.

Yeah I may just do it that way since you didn't seem to have any issues. We'll see when I get into it tomorrow.

Made some more progress today. Got the driver hanger off with a cutoff and a sawzall.. while the spring was still in it haha. Also marked 11" forward on the frame since I forgot to hang a plumb bob. Picked up some 3"x1/4" flat stock and got the beefy hangers marked out. Trying to get my buddy with a plasma to cut them out so I don't have to do it with a cutoff wheel and grinder. Tried to go pick up some springs but they didn't have power in the yard and I was planning on cutting them out so I'll have to pick up a breaker bar and mini sledge and go give it a try..

Good score from the junkyard today. Doors and 63's with a nice arc for $125

Got one spring hung. Hangers are tacked in place. Going to get the other side hung and set it on its weight to check wheelbase and shackle angles before burning it in.

I hope so! I'm ready to get this thing rolling again. Looking forward to seeing the ride height in the rear.
