Thanks man! My friend is a really good fabricator, the upper crossmember was mostly him. I gave him my idea and he tweaked it. It came out really good!

Still have some tweaking to do before wheeling. In this pic I'm on a 3ft bank and am at full compression (limited by the overload) and almost full droop. The driver's shock still has 5" of uptravel to go and the pass shock has 2" of downtravel left. Probably going to move the shocks to the outer hole on the crossmember.

Went and played around a little today. Wanted to cycle the rear suspension to make sure everything's good. Pretty happy with the droop I'm getting with the stock shackles. I will definitely have to relocate the shocks when I add 6" shackles. In the flex pics I am at 29" eye to eye and full extension is 29.95". A little too close for comfort. I have plenty of uptravel in their current mounting location and am not worried about bottoming out as long as the overload is in there. On to the pics..

Stuck. He's 2wd but still likes to play haha. Trying to get him to trade in on a 4x4
    [IMG]

Full droop in the next 3 pics. About 1/2" off the ground.

1" Of shaft showing is plenty... I limit mine at 1/2" I'd recommend removing the rear overload and adding a bump stop. you could probably get another 2" of uptravel that way. (I need to do this...) Just haven't had time. But more uptravel might force more downtravel...

Yeah that's the plan. The leafs are so damn chattery on the street since the overloads arc upwards like the leafs they touch, A LOT. I figure the inch I'll loose by removing the overload will be gained back with the 6" shackles. My crossmember/upper shock mount has another mounting option (outward) that I will move the shocks to and that will get me another 1" of downtravel but I'll still have to figure something out because the shackles will net more than 1" more of downtravel. I have room to move my lower mounts up on the axle an inch so I'll do that too.

Did some maintenence the other day. Picked up some OEM denso plugs to replace my single electrodes and pulled a plug wire in half when I was changing them so I picked up some blue NGK wires too. Also I seafoamed and it made a big difference in overall smoothness and noticed an increase in power too!

Also good news.... I got a second interview on the job I've been chasing! If I can nail this one last interview I should get it and then let the mods commence!! :D

Well, second interview went really well! I think I have a good shot of getting it and that means more mods and a hyundai genesis coupe :D

Did make some more purchases for the truck though. I've got a retro kit on the way.. mini h1, 35w 5000k bulbs, xb LED halos. I also picked up some LED rock lights today. 20 modules with 3 LED's each. Hoping they are bright enough but if not I'll pick up another set since they were only $40!

Haha yeah dude she's a real keeper! She was going to buy me a led light bar for my birthday but I told her not to worry about it since I haven't built my bumper yet.
