    Hi,
Hoping someone can help me with the Grim Jeeper gear ratio calculator, I'm trying to figure out what information to enter.
My truck is a 2012, 4 cylinder, auto, 4x4 access cab

Step 1 transmission: Toyota A340F I believe. Then a question of with or without lockup torque converter? Don't know the answer to that.

Step 2 transfer case: Toyota tacoma and FJ I assume

Step 3 select underdrive: This one I am having a hard time finding information on. There are options such as "Toyota 2.28 doubler", "Toyota 4.0 doubler" etc. Please advise.

    Thanks

You can always enter your own numbers. Use 1:1 for 3rd gear you have a lock up converter.

I found this with a quick google for the T-case.

    Toyota VF2AM/VF2BM
    Manufacturer: Aisin Seiki
    Number of speeds: Two
    High: 1:1
    Low: 2.57:1

Hope that helps...maybe better answers will follow.

Thank you, I think that helps.

When I select "tacoma and FJ" for the transfer case in step 2, those are the numbers that come up. So do those same numbers apply for step 3, select underdrive? I'm not knowledgeable with some of this stuff, I don't even know what underdrive means.

    Thanks

You don't select anything for underdrive. It would be a crawl box or second t-case which you don't have.
