Wondering if anyone has swapped in a 2000 2.7L auto transmission in place of a manual 5 speed in a 2004 2.7L standard cab?

    any difficulties?

    will it even work?

What about the manual hubs from a 2000 in place of the auto hubs of a 2004?

edit.. added 2000 model year for auto transmission...

Are you kidding? The ability to lock and unlock the hubs at will is clutch...makes life much easier to get a truck off the trail if you pop a cv axle...plus typically I'm fairly sure that manual hubs are stronger
